St. Joseph Cupertino Parish is the people of God gathered as a family to celebrate the liturgy, the study of sacred scripture, and the pursuit of our mutual goal: to bring the Gospel of Christ Jesus to all, so that all may share in the promise of eternal life with Him.
Our Parish Mission is to pray, teach, and serve as Jesus did, touching the lives of all we meet. Each day we strive as a community to "rejoice and be glad" in the Joy of the Gospel, to give comfort in time of sorrow, and to serve all in times of need. Relying on God's Providence and seeking the counsel and guidance of the Holy Spirit, we continue Christ's mission. Through our gifts and talents, we build the Body of Christ in ourselves, our parish community, and our world, which we share with all creatures great and small.
"THEREFORE, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you" Matthew 26:19-20
Our Charism
Founded as a Franciscan Parish we strive to live the Gospel life in the spirit of Francis. Two famous verses associated with St. Francis are: "Francis, Go and Repair My House which has fallen down as you see" and "Lord make me an instrument of your peace." Let us all strive to the best of our abilities to do both.
If you haven’t visited St.Joe's yet, Father Michael, Fr. David and I welcome you to join us for our weekend worship Sunday mornings at 10:30 am. Stay for hospitality Sunday mornings to meet new friends, or just feel free to drop by to learn more about our parish family. Learn ways you can get involved at St. Joe's by browsing our site, our bulletin, or our Facebook page. We look forward to seeing you, and may God bless you.
